Funky Buddha Finds a New 18K Sq. Ft. Home In Oakland Park, FL

We know it has been a long time since we have sent out any updates. It is definitely not from the lack of trying. We have been diligently working behind the scenes to prepare for this day. The new Funky Buddha Brewery has a home! We have signed our lease in Oakland Park, FL. It is a large 18,000 square foot facility that will allow us room for growth, but more importantly plenty of awesome craft beer! The City of Oakland Park along with RMA (Redevelopment Management Associates) are working towards creating a Culinary Arts District and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it. We are extremely fortunate to be a part of this dedication by the city and we thank them for being so supportive of our expansion and plans.

The classic example of putting the cart before the horse, we had purchased our equipment before even finding a home. Now we can tell them where to ship our brand new 30 barrel system! What a giant, scary leap from our modest 1.5 barrel system we treasure now. Our plan is to be brewing early 2013. We promise to update a lot more frequently, with pictures and news. Thank you to everyone for your support and belief in us. We look forward to the future of the Funky Buddha Brewery and raising a beer or two with all of you. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we can’t wait!

Cheers!
