Crooked Stave Planning to Expand in Denver

  From The Denver Post:

Within about eight months, Yakobson expects to close his north Denver taproom and move to larger space in The Source,a planned high-end artisan marketin an 1880s foundry building in Denver's burgeoning River North neighborhood. There, Crooked Stave will operate a 20-barrel pilot system, a "brewer's playground" that will include a brewing throwback: a "coolship," a thin, long, open-air fermenting dish used to cool wort.

Eventually, Yakobson would like to build an additional brewery, ideally between Golden and Boulder, with space for greenhouses, a small hop farm and on-site camping for festivals.
