Bits and pieces still coming in, but it looks like a 200kg, 6-foot tall state has been stolen from Brasserie d’ Achouffe. Details from hln.be:
The statue that the Leprechaun of la Chouffe proposes, the beer of the Achouffe brewery is in the province of Luxembourg, stolen last night.
The piece of two meters high and about 200 kilograms a year and a half was heavily along the N30, on four kilometers from the brewery. The theft was reported to the police.
"More than the financial value is the image, created by an artist from the region, the mascot of the brewery", it sounds in Achouffe. "It is not our goal to punish those who took the dwarf,, but we want to find him and will not hesitate to to compensate the persons who help us,."
The Achouffe brewery celebrated their 30th anniversary on 27 August. In 2006, the brewery was taken over by the Duvel Moortgat group.
