Great news coming out of Lexington Kentucky from The LaneReport:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 17, 2012) — West Sixth Brewing of Lexington announced Thursday that it plans to more than double its brewery capacity, adding two 60 barrel fermenters.

“These new tanks will allow us to meet the strong local demand for our flagship West Sixth IPA,” said co-founder Brady Barlow. “We are thrilled we’ve had such a great response to our beer and look forward to being able to provide even more beer to local stores and restaurants in the Central Kentucky market.”

With these two fermenters, West Sixth will be able to brew 60 more barrels of beer each week. In addition, the extra capacity will allow West Sixth to increase the variety of beers available at its taproom at 501 West Sixth Street in Lexington.
