Here’s an interesting NEW service that allows you to text the name of the beer you’re drinking (or thinking of drinking) to 315-679-4711, and get the full info on that beer sent to your phone. BeerText.us was just started a few weeks ago, and it uses BreweryDB to obtain the details. There is currently no sign up process, and no charge, but be warned that some of the beers may generate multiple messages sent to your phone with LOTS of details. This is a new product so expect some bumps, but check it out for yourself at BeerText.us.
