Sierra Nevada Mills River Facility Will Open 4-Months Earlier

Good news for the Sierra Nevada Mills River facility, and east coast beer drinkers….Sierra Nevada announced last night that it will move up the opening date for the Mills River, NC facility from Nov 2013 to July 2013.  This from Blueridgenow:

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has moved its opening date up from November 2013 to July, a co-manager of the brewery said Thursday.

Stan Cooper, who will manage the Mills River facility along with Brian Grossman, presented an update about the plant's progress during a Mills River Town Council meeting. Carrie Alden, Human Resources manager for the Sierra Nevada location in Mills River, presented information about workforce benefits and employee hiring expectations.
