Avery Ale To The Chief Will Be Keg-Only In Sept

imageAvery’s Ale To The Chief will return for election season in early Sept, however it will not be bottled.  Details from Westword:

Ale to the Chief won't be bottled this time, but it will be on tap in Colorado, California, Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, Ohio, Missouri, Massachusetts, Illinois and South Carolina. "At about 8.1 percent ABV, the color is a crimson hue, and with honey malt, dark Munich malts and Cascade hops, we've taken the essence of a traditional American pale ale and doubled it," the brewery says.

It is being kegged on August 20 and should be available about two weeks later, Osborne says.
