Sharps Brewery “Doom Bar” Beer Sales Increase 22% Following MillerCoors Purchase

Sharp’s Brewery has reported a 22% rise in volume sales of its flagship beer Doom Bar, following the brewery’s acquisition by Molson Coors in 2011.

Since the acquisition, Molson has invested around £5m in the brewery, which resulted in increasing the production capacity of the Doom Bar beer from 81,199 barrels in 2010 to 117,517 barrels in 2011. The Doom Bar beer is now available in around 6,000 outlets all across the UK.
