great news for everyone like me struggling to read freshness dates in a dimly-lit bar:
There’s nothing like fresh beer! And, if you’ve been unfortunate enough to take a swig of stale beer, you know there’s nothing quite like that taste either. In order to help you avoid that flavor letdown, we’ve been laser coding “Enjoy By” dates onto our beers ever since opening in 1996. Sixteen years later, we’ve upgraded that process. Now appearing in a larger font, etched right on to the bottle, you can see if the beer you are drinking is in code:
Be sure to check the code prior to purchase. (FYI, our date codes used to appear on the labels. The new codes will be more consistently readable and doesn’t wipe off.) We advise our consumers to keep an eye on beer date codes because no one can protect fresh beer like you, the consumer. If the code is out of date, please point it out to your retailer.
