From CraftBeer:
One of New York's Newest Craft Breweries...
Good things come to those who wait... after 4 years of planning, 2 years of paperwork, 6 months of construction, and great anticipation by many, Newburgh Brewing Company is pleased to announce the launch of their beers on April 19th, 2012.
Located in the heart of the City of Newburgh in New York's Hudson Valley region, Newburgh Brewing is one of New York's newest craft breweries. Led by Brewmaster Christopher Basso, Head of Sales Charlie Benedetti, and President Paul Halayko, we are excited to be finally getting our beer out into the market and into the .
Our initial focus is on all things "sessionable"; it's what we here at Newburgh enjoy drinking, and what we hope people in the Hudson Valley will enjoy as well. Sessionable means lower in ABV, but never lower in flavor or complexity. And with that style of beer comes the ability for people to enjoy a "session" of our beer - whether it be at the pub with friends, or with family at home from a growler.
The first 4 beer styles from Newburgh are fermenting away, and they are a Peat Smoked Stout (a delicious Dry Irish Stout with a roasted and smoky twist); a Belgian-Style Saison; Cream Ale, and Brown Ale. And all 4 come in between 4-5% ABV, making them deliciously sessionable.
The launch of our beer will be held at The Wherehouse, a craft beer bar located at 119 Liberty Street in Newburgh (right around the corner from our brewery), starting at 6pm, on April 19th. Starting April 20th, our beers will be available throughout the Hudson Valley in different bars and restaurants (we are only kegging to start).
And for those who want to come and visit us - our beautiful 4th floor taproom will be opening sometime towards the end of May. Located at 88 South Colden Street in Newburgh (right behind Historic Washington's Headquarters), we will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. When we are ready to open, we'll certainly be letting everyone know.

Cheers!
