Genesee Brewing Gains Approval to Demolish Old Brewery

Remember the original story….well it looks like Genesee can finally move forward:

After two unanimous — and conflicting — votes by two city governing boards, the Genesee Brewing Co.’s plan to demolish a century-old brewhouse was approved late Wednesday.

Moments after the city’s Preservation Board voted in favor of granting landmark status to the abandoned building at 13 Cataract St., the city’s Planning Commission voted to not grant landmark status.  More details here from Democrat & Chronicle.
