We delivered the keg label and now we have the actual 750ml bottle label for Brewery Ommegang Biere D’Hougoumont Biere De Garde (ale aged on maple & oak wood staves.) This new brew from our friend Phil Leinhart uses French ale yeast, 8 malts, French Streisselspalt hops & the name honors the Hougoumont Farmstead at “the pivotal center of the Waterloo battlefield…Napoleon repeatedly failed to take the Farmstead, he then lost the battle & met his Waterloo.” This new brew will be 7.2% ABV and I believe it is one of the first packages to carry a QR code from Ommegang too.
