Asheville NC Goes Black & Blue (Mountain) w/2 New Breweries

imageWe’ve been so busy talking about Sierra Nevada moving into the Asheville, NC area, we’ve overlooked two new breweries in the Asheville area.  Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville & Black Mountain Ale in Black Mountain are both working toward opening brewing operations in 2012.  Black Mountain hopes to be brewing by Aug and is currently working on their TTB and state approvals.  Blue Mountain is aiming for the same timeframe and has their federal approvals in place.  Once operational, these two will be comes the 11th and 12th breweries in the area.  More details here…
