Details of this “slipped” out at a Coco-Cola Australia (CCA) annual profit statement, CCA chief Terry Davis warned that he would like to take Cocoa-Cola back into the beer market in Australia. With the recent purchase of Fosters by SABMiller Terry tool the opportunity to warn SABMiller that CCA considers beer part of their “core strategy.” As part of a non-compete agreement from the PacBev sale, CCA must wait to sell until 2014, but Davis again made it clear they’d not be wasting that time without negotiating to re-enter the beer market.
