We brought you the news of Urkontinent back in Oct, so it’s exciting to finally see the label for the Dogfish Head / Google “co-brew” Urkontinent. This beer is a Belgian-style Dubbel using ingredients from around the world (Belgian Candi Syrup, Bog Myrtle, South American Amaranth, European Myrica Gake, African Rooibos Green Tea, Australian Wattleseed and honey supplied by Google’s Mountainview California beer hives.) The concept was to bring ingredients from around the world to form the beer—much like Google brings in information from around the world and assembles it into coherent information.) It will be packaged in 750ml bottles and come in at a big 9% ABV.
