Here’s your first look at Release No 1 from the Firestone Walker Brewing Proprietor’s Reserve Series called Double DBA Oak Barrel-Aged Imperial Special Bitter 2012. This BIG 12% ABV beer will be packaged in 22oz bottles in a limited 2700 case production run. Based on the name I was expecting an IBU a little higher than the published 29IBU, but I suspect it’s more along the lines of an English-style bitter (also based on the British Ale yeast used), which would make perfect sense. As a bonus I’ve included the keg labels for Firestone Walker Wooley Jack (Unfiltered Black Rye IPA—8.3% ABV) & Velvet Merkin (Oatmeal Stout in Oak Barrels—8.7% ABV)
As an additional bonus…here are the new Wookey Jack (Black Rye IPA 8.3% ABV 22oz bottles) & UCABA (Barley Wine aged in oak barrels—12.5% keg) Labels.
