Brewmaster Jeff O'Neil to leave Ithaca Beer Co. Thursday, October 27, 2011
October 24, 2011–Ithaca Beer Co. announces the departure of brewmaster, Jeff “Chief” O'Neil, who will no longer be employed by the company after October 27, 2011. O'Neil, who has spent eight years brewing at Ithaca Beer - serving as brewmaster the past five years, will be moving on to pursue other brewing interests.
O'Neil leaves Ithaca Beer to join The Peekskill Brewery as their new brewmaster. Ithaca Beer is excited and happy for O'Neil--wishing him and his family all the best.
Ithaca Beer's brewing team will continue producing excellent award-winning craft beers, as the company remains on schedule building a new facility featuring a brand new 50 barrel brewhouse, wood-fired pizza pub and beer garden. Check the official Ithaca Beer website, Facebook, and twitter feed for updates on the building process.
