We brought you all of the new packaging from Green Flash Brewing back in mid-May…so it was fun to see that trend continue today with Green Flash Barleywine. Here’s the 22oz packaging for the 10.9% ABV 2012 vintage! “A four hour boil intensifies the caramel malts and enormous Pacific Northwest hop charge. The result is a rich, estery brew with toffee notes and citrus hop flavors layered throughout. Enjoy fresh today or lay it down & see how the flavors of each vintage evolve.”
As a bonus I’ve included the new keg packaging for 30th St Pale Ale (one of my favorites on the west coast), Hop head Red, West Coast IPA, Double Stout, Sugar Smack & Rayon Vert. As an additional bonus green Flash released San Diego Saison today too (22oz)

Is this the same as Shaggy? Or will they be two different beers?
ReplyDeleteSebastian...yes Shaggy was supposed to be the new name of Barleywine so too was surprised to see the Barleywine label approved. It's labeled 2012 vintage so I assume there will be two.
