There are tons of Samuel Adams / Boston Beer Co new beers being released today…so lets start with some of the more interesting ones.  This morning we have Rauchbier, Roasted Rauchbier, Bonfire Rauchbier, Seven Hills Rauchbier & Boston Lager commemorative packaging.  These are all 12oz bottle packaging and the rauchbiers all carry the same neck labeling despite their varying names (“Our rauchbier is a dark malty, smoked brew.  It’s smoky flavor comes from the malt we use, which is dried over the smoke from a smoldering hardwood fire…”)  The Boston lager packaging commemorates the 1860 original recipe (1860-1984 when Jim Koch first re-brewed it.)

  1. I never had a beer like this, it has a lot of flavor great beer. Just wish I could get it all by itself instead of only in a variety 12 pack with only two in the entire case. Yummy!
