It’s been an amazing month of February as we’ve reported on so many different new craft-breweries joining us in northeastern and central Pennsylvania, so I’m very excited to report that we have another upstart micro-brewery set to join us. I’ve been talking to Alan Miller co-founder of the new Millbock Brewing Co coming soon to Harrisburg, PA.
Alan Miller & his business partner Albert Delbock are co-owners and co-brewers for this new upstart brewery in Lingelstown, PA. The guys have a location for the brewery and they are working on building out not only their brewing system, but also the building itself (currently about 75% complete). Alan tells me they’ll be starting with a home-built 6bbl brew system, as they work toward brewing and supplying their beers to local bars, restaurants and possibly distributors. So far there are no plans for a tasting room or brewery tours, but the guys are working on the paper work and looking toward possibly a June 2011 opening date….so stay tuned.
The guys have a web page, a FaceBook page and even a Twitter page so be sure to check them out.
