Stone–Crime & Punishment Ales

Our pal Mitch and the rest of the guys at Stone have been busy once again.  Here we have Crime (Ale aged with Chili peppers & aged in wine barrels—8,6% ABV), and Punishment Ale aged with Chili peppers & aged in bourbon barrels—10.9% ABV).  According to the Stone Blog (Be sure to read the actual post.), Crime is half of the harvest of chili pepper varieties from Greg Koch’s personal garden added to a oak barrel of Double dry-hopped Lukcy Basartd, and Punishment is the other half of the peppers added to oak aged Double Bastard.  Ouch!
