Here are two noew Denmark brews coming from Evil Twin brewing and imported through our friends at Twelve Percent LLC (Brooklyn, NY). Twelve has brought us great beers such as Emilesse, Stillwater, Tournay, Courage, Hof Ten and ‘T Gaverhopke (yes they’re all available in PA)…so I’ll be excited to see if these two comes our way too. First up we have Soft DK, an Imperial Stout previously called Soft Dookie! This toned down name received label approval and will be bottled in 750ml bottles and march in at 10% ABV. “This stout looks and smells like an alias. If you want to find out what we think this beer really smells and tastes like, then you’ll have to go to DK (Denmark) and drink it there.” I’m not sure a Dookie-beer is all that appealing to me, but who knows.
Next up is YIN, an Imperial Taiji Stout that will be bottled in 11.2oz bottles and come in at 10% ABV also. Not a lot of info out yet on this new brew…”This is one half of a Black & Tan. Not just any Black & Tan, but one where a toasted smug and hoppy fella get together to make a sublime Taiji balance. Mix the Yin & Yang together (or employ this profoundly evil Imperial Stout solo)….I expect we’ll see Yang tomorrow.
