We brought word of this really exciting co-brew back in early January, so I thought I’d follow up with the actual 12oz label so you can check it out for yourself. Highway 78 will be a co-brew between our pal Mitch Steele @ Stone Brewing, Chuck Silva @ Green Flash and Jeff Bagby @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. The brew will be a less-than-traditional Scotch Ale coming in around 8.8%% ABV using all English ingredients. 
The beer will be brewed and bottled at Stone and as hard as it is to believe, this will be Stone’s first ever Scotch Ale. No word on whether this limited release will make it to PA so stay tuned. In case you’re wondering….the beer is named for the Highway that connects these three San Diego area breweries and it’s scheduled to be released on Valentines Day.
