Maine Beer Co–Mean Old Tom

image

I’ve seen a lot of beer trade activity in NEPA for this beer, so I thought you’d want to see the bottle label approval that came out today.  It’s not much to look at, but so far my beer pals are loving the other beers from our friends in Portland, ME and also Mean Old Tom.  It’s no Grumpy Bill’s Porter, but it is named after the brewmaster’s Uncle Tom (who collected beer cans).  This is a Bottle-conditioned Stout aged on natural vanilla beans, it comes in at 6.4% ABV and will be packaged in 1 Pint .9oz bottles.  Maine Beer uses all wind power for electricity and donates 1% of all sales to environmental non-profits.
