I always love bringing you the first peek at new beers, but I especially like it when it’s a local beer. Today we’re getting a peek at the recently approved Stoudt’s McGillin’s 1860 IPA keg label. McGillin’s Olde Ale House was established on Drury St in Philly and became a local institution. In celebration of their 150th anniversary, Stoudt’s created this special IPA. Stoudt’s alreay brews their McGillin’s Real Ale and McGillin’s Genuine Lager…so it looks like the unfiltered 1860 IPA will be becoming a regular there as well. Look for further expansion as I’m hearing there may be bottles (bottle conditioned) and further keg distribution of 1860 IPA to come.
