Elysian–Bete Blanche Tripel Spring Seasonal

ElysianBeteBlanche

This is the recently released, approved (about 5 mins ago) Elysian Bete Blanche Tripel.  This is Elysian’s new spring seasonal for 2011 and it will be packaged in 22oz bottles.  This is a mild tripel at 7.5% ABV and accorting to head brewer Dick Cantwell it is “a twist on the French expression Bete Noire…Bete Blanche is extremely drinkable and somewhat treacherous.”  Oddly enough Bete Noire translates to "black beast" and is used to refer to an object or abstract idea that is particularly disliked or avoided…so you figure it out.
