Chip the Beer Guy - Rodenbach

Today the guys tasted a blended beer on the show in the form of Rodenbach Flemish Red Ale.  Chip had a fresh bottle and a 5-year aged Grand Cru.  Most Rodenbach beers are a blend of younger and oak-aged beer and most tend to lean toward the sour ale side of things.  AuRants was pouring Rodenbach Grand Cru on draft last week, so I know how good this beer is.  It’s certainly not a “beginner” beer because of the sour characteristics, but it is an interesting brew.  Cheers guys.

  1. Most people either love it or hate it. I for one love it (and my other Flemish Reds).
