Hey- anyone remember the concept of picnics-- when there was still open space before our state became all housing subdivisions and highways and you could drive out somewhere and eat and have a couple of beers without being hassled by land-owners and neo-prohibitionists and mad mothers?

Yeah Lee, I remember that, and going camping on property when you had no idea who owned it.
ReplyDeleteI have a newspaper ad for Steg from very early days (pre-Pro) about getting your friends in the car along with a case of Stegmaier and an opener (and don't forget glasses if there will be ladies present) and going out for a leisurely cruise through the countryside.
