Samuel Adams Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru 2015 Coming 9/2

imageWe brought you a peek at the bottle, and now we have the release details from Samuel Adams:

Bring on the Funk! On Wednesday, September 2 we open our Boston Brewery doors in celebration of a first for us… the bottle release of our Kosmic Mother Funk (KMF) Grand Cru! KMF Grand Cru is a unique Belgian style ale, aged in Hungarian oak tuns for over a year and fermented with multiple micro-organisms including Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and other wild critters found in the environment of our brewery. For the first time ever we are bottling this special brew for public sale. KMF Grand Cru will be exclusively available for sale here at the Boston Brewery while supplies last.

Sam Adams Founder and brewer, Jim Koch, will be on hand to toast the release of this special beer and VIP ticket holders will get a signed bottle.

To add to the funk, here’s what else we’ll have going on:

  • Tastings of our Barrel Room Collection styles
  • Live music by the funk band The Chicken Slacks
  • Funky foods
  • Exclusive opportunity to purchase additional Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru bottles (before they are released to the public the next day)

There are two ticket types:

General Admission - $30

  • Samples of our Barrel Room Collection beers including Kosmic Mother Funk Grand Cru
  • Light Food
