Boulevard Launching New KC Pils To Replace Boulevard Pilsner

We brought you a peek at the label, and now Boulevard Brewing is showing off the actual bottles as they come off the line.  KC Pils is a renamed version of the former Boulevard Pilsner.  I expect this beer will hit the shelves very soon.

    In my opinion the new KC-Pils is not the same beer as the original Boulevard Pilsner. I tried it different times and the my overall impression is that the new brew lacks the clarity and crispness of the Original, is a tad lighter in color and has an odd, ale-like, aftertaste. As they both (old & New)were/are the only lagers on the year-round menu for Boulevard I am rather unhappy with the new stuff...
