Oskar Blues–Renames Gordon G’Knight

In yet another beer naming conflict, Oskar Blues is being forced to change the name of their long running Imperial Red Ale “Gordon” --named after a famous brewer and firefighter Gordon Knight who was killed in 2002 in a fire fighting incident.  The suit was brought by Gordon Biersch Brewery and a “Cease & Desist: order was issued.  The Oskar Blues beer will be renamed G’Knight in honor of Gordon Knight once again and they received label approval for the new can packaging last week.  oskar-blues-gordon.jpgSo here’s your BEFORE and AFTER…or is it AFTER and BEFORE…and be sure to note the “big red sticky” change to “Still big still red & still sticky.”
