Reuben’s Brews Releasing Blimey & Triple Crush

What's Hoppening in Ballard This Saturday

The hopocalypse is upon us! (In the best way possible, of course.) Hop Mob crashes into the Ballard Taproom this Saturday, February 8th, unleashing a wave of exclusive Triple IPAs that will redefine your definition of hoppy. We're talking limited-edition brews from Reuben's, plus guest taps featuring some of the most hop-obsessed breweries in the PNW. These beers are not for the faint of heart – or the easily satisfied. Are you ready?

Blimey! That’s Bitter is Back—And It’s Not Here to Cuddle

Brace yourself, because Blimey! That’s Bitter is making its grand return, and this Triple IPA isn’t pulling any punches. At 10.5% ABV, it’s big, bold, and absolutely stuffed with hops—Citra®, Simcoe®, Amarillo®, and Chinook, to be exact. The result? A glorious, resinous, citrusy wallop that’ll have your taste buds questioning their life choices (in the best way possible).

Is it bitter? Of course it is. The name isn’t just for fun. But somehow, it’s still beautifully balanced—like a British queue, orderly yet full of underlying tension. And don’t just trust our judgment, this brew has been in the top ranks of Beer Advocate’s Best IPAs in Washington for multiple years.

If you like your beers strong, hoppy, and with just the right amount of attitude, this one’s for you. But don’t dawdle—find it in our taproom (debuting at Hop Mob this weekend) or use our Beer Finder to track it down near you.

Triple Crush: Prepare for Impact

Hold onto your hats, hopheads! We've taken our beloved Crush Hazy IPA and cranked it up to eleven. Introducing Triple Crush – a Triple IPA that's not just big, it's legendary.  This juicy behemoth is bursting with citrus and tropical fruit notes, yet somehow maintains a remarkable balance that'll have you saying, "Just one more..." (even though you probably shouldn't).

Don't just take our word for it – Triple Crush was named one of the Top 25 Beers of 2020 by Wine Enthusiast and is a two-time gold-medal winner in the U.S. Open Beer Championships.  Ready to experience hop nirvana? Grab a pint (or a can) at our taprooms before it's gone! Find it at the Hop Mob event this weekend!
