Hi-Wire Brewing To Host Benefit Pint Night in Honor of Mountain BizWorks’ 35th Anniversary

From Hi-Wire:

ASHEVILLE, NC  — In honor of Mountain BizWorks’ 35th anniversary, Hi-Wire Brewing is excited to announce the Mountain BizWorks Benefit Pint Night on Thursday, June 13, from 5-8 p.m. at Hi-Wire Brewing RAD Beer Garden in Asheville's River Arts District. A portion of the proceeds from each flagship pint sold during the event will support this nonprofit community development financial institution (CDFI), which provides resources to local entrepreneurs throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina.   zzubreebym

"Mountain BizWorks is honored to have worked alongside entrepreneurs with big dreams for 35 years," said Matt Raker, executive director of Mountain BizWorks. "Our core principles of fair financing, peer learning, and economic inclusion remain the same as when we began. We are excited to celebrate this occasion with Hi-Wire, too – a Mountain BizWorks alum since 2014."

Attendees can enjoy food from the Delish Venezuelan Street Food Truck and meet the Mountain BizWorks team. Donations can be made via QR links and donation cards available at the event. A short presentation by Mountain BizWorks, featuring local entrepreneurs, will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Specialty 16-ounce insulated stackable tumblers, created in partnership with Mountain BizWorks’ client Pirani, will be available for purchase at $35 each, with proceeds supporting Mountain BizWorks’s mission.

Hi-Wire Brewing’s formal relationship with Mountain BizWorks began just a couple of years after the brewery opened when Hi-Wire had a short-term capital need for more equipment. "Mountain BizWorks was so easy to work with, quick, and helpful for us when we’ve needed it – then, and several times since," said Adam Charnack, co-founder of Hi-Wire Brewing. The Asheville-based brewery just celebrated its 10-year anniversary last July.

Join Hi-Wire Brewing and Mountain BizWorks on June 13 to enjoy great beer, food, and support the dreams of local entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina.
