The brewery set out to create a hazy, juicy, tropical treat. Brewers mashed together their favorite pineapple-centric hops with real pineapple fruit in a high octane, yet crushable, Double IPA that’s ready to usher taste buds into summer.
The beer was heavily dry hopped after fermentation with Sultana, El Dorado and Idaho 7, all noted to provide significant pineapple characteristics while also adding additional supporting tropical and citrus layers to the beer. Copious amounts of real pineapple were added after fermentation to bring out the pineapple flavor further.
