Natural Coconut Adds a Local Twist to the Classic Cocktail
Kihei, Hawaii (April 9, 2024) – Kupu Spirits is thrilled to announce the release of its latest ready-to-enjoy cocktail, Maui Mojito. As temperatures heat up and grills are fired up, the Hawaii distillery turned the classic Cuban beverage Pacific Island-style for pau hanas, afternoons at the beach, or weekend barbeques. Light rum blended with sugarcane, natural coconut, lime and mint flavors, this cocktail with an ABV of 7% offers a distinct, cool yet slightly sweet taste with subtle herbal and tropical aromas. Kupu Spirits version is sure to bring you beach vibes!
"With this rum-inspired cocktail's rich history and iconic character, we loved the idea of bringing a Mojito into our Kupu Spirits line,” stated Lead Distiller Nick Reiss. “Along with the expressive staple ingredients of mint, lime, and white rum, we added a hint of coconut for style points. I hope you enjoy this as much as I had fun making it!"
Now and throughout the month of May, Maui Brewing Co. restaurants located on Maui will be offering special pricing for this cocktail. Refreshing and delicious either on ice or right out of the can, Kupu Spirits Maui Mojito will be available in 12oz 4-packs at Maui Brewing restaurant locations, island-wide local grocery and convenient stores, and retail partners.
