This morning I have some new bottles and cans coming from The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

2econd will be a German chocolate banana cake-inspired double barrel-aged imperial stout (Bayonet) with banana, toasted coconut, cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla (17.1%-AbV, 750ml bottles), Cherry Chocolate Reign will be a double barrel-aged (Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels) imperial stout with cacao nibs, vanilla beans and tart cherries (21.9%-AbV, 750ml bottles) & Cup Or Cone? will be a Rocky Road Ice Cream-inspired imperial stout with lactose, cacao nibs, cocoa powder, almonds, vegan marshmallows, vanilla beans and salt (8.5%-AbV, 16oz cans). CHERRY CHOCOLATE ROYALTY Introducing Cherry Chocolate Reign. Crafted with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and two rounds of aging in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels, this imperial stout is both a visual and flavorful masterpiece. Chocolate Rain - Chocolate Rain began as a single cask version of our Black Tuesday imperial stout at our very first release event for Black Tuesday back in 2009. It was so well received we had to give it it's own dedicated release. Now this beer sings and stands on its own. This decadent version of our bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout features cacao nibs from TCHO and fresh vanilla beans. Rich in chocolate, vanilla, oak and bourbon, it truly puts the "imperial" in imperial stout.

In 2018, we created an extremely small batch of exclusive treatment for Society members where we folded in tart cherries to capture that classic cherry cordial profile of chocolate covered cherries, and Cherry Chocolate Rain was born.


Chocolate Reign - Inspired by the success and abundance of bourbon and oak character of the double bourbon barreled release of Black Tuesday Reserve, we created Chocolate Reign in 2019. Not only was it double bourbon barrel aged, but we also doubled the vanilla and cacao nibs resulting in a 21% decadent monster.

Cherry Chocolate Reign - In 2024, six years later, we felt it was time to give Cherry Chocolate Rain the royal treatment.  Chocolate Cherry Reign is crafted with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and two rounds of aging in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels to create a beer that is truly a royal experience.
