Announcing The Newest Frenz Collaboration IPA
Bale Breaker's Frenz Collaboration Series is back with their first 2024 release, a PNW-themed IPA with three powerhouse Oregon breweries.  zzubreebym

Yakima, WA  – February 6, 2024 –
Bale Breaker Brewing Company, a brewery located on their family’s 4th generation hop farm in the beautiful Yakima Valley, is excited to announce that their popular Frenz Collaboration Series is back in 2024 with a fresh new look, and the first release of the year is a West Coast IPA brewed with three powerhouse Oregon breweries – Breakside Brewery, Barley Brown’s, and Von Ebert Brewing.
“As we searched for breweries to team up with for our February Frenz release," shares Kevin Smith, co-owner and brewmaster at Bale Breaker, "it was clear to us that we had to bring our good friends from Barley Brown's back into the mix. Breakside was an obvious choice, given our shared passion for hoppy beers. And when we were looking for a brewery whose style resonated with our crew, Von Ebert immediately came to mind.”
It was easy for the four breweries to agree to brew a crushable West Coast IPA, but the brewers decided to take the recipe up a notch and showcase cutting edge hop products. The core aroma and hop flavor come from a combination of Simcoe®, Chinook, and experimental HBC 630 hops. In addition to traditional T90 pellets and modern Cryo hop pellets, this Frenz IPA release also features Simcoe® and Chinook YCH701 – a high-oil aromatic liquid hop extract – to really get the hop aroma to pop.
This collaboration IPA will be released on Friday, February 16 at both their Yakima and Ballard taprooms and in Portland on February 20-21 at Roscoe’s, Belmont Station, and Loyal Legion. It will receive full distribution throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho following the release parties – find it using Bale Breaker’s
online beer finder. Washington customers can also order their beer via their online store after launch.

Our word of 2024: PARTY. If brewing beer isn't fun, then we don't want any part in it. So we’re making every brewday a party with as many brewing frenz as we can fit on the front of the can. Our first 2024 release celebrates Oregon’s vibrant beer scene with a classic PNW spin on a West Coast IPA from ourselves and a crew of Oregon breweries: Barley Brown’s, Breakside Brewery, and Von Ebert Brewing. Best enjoyed around a campfire on a rainy backpacking trip with frenz.
