CLARION, PA , September 21, 2023 – Mechanistic Brewing Co. is excited to announce its upcoming Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 23 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The renowned craft brewery, known for its scientific approach to beer-making, will release a new Octoberfest (Marzen) beer and offer an array of traditional German foods, promising an unforgettable experience for beer enthusiasts and food lovers.
Founded in 2019 by George and Chelsea Alexander, Mechanistic Brewing Co. has quickly gained recognition for its commitment to using chemistry to recreate classic beer styles while also experimenting with more contemporary flavors. The brewery, located at 538 Liberty Street in Clarion, PA, offers a rotating menu of eleven unique drinks on tap.
Oktoberfest attendees can look forward to the release of a special beer crafted specifically for this event, showcasing the brewery's dedication to creating exceptional and distinctive brews.
To complement the special brews, the celebration will also feature an assortment of German foods. From savory beer-braised bratwursts prepared and served by the Rotary Club of Clarion to authentic pretzels by Penns Woods Pretzel Co., attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in traditional flavors that perfectly complement the Oktoberfest experience. Polka Dot Pie Shop, a local company, will also be in attendance with an array of artisanal pies.
The celebration will also feature a variety of entertainment options. Local Clarion artist Hillary will kick off the event at 2 p.m. with German-inspired wood ornament crafts (for kids and adults alike). The Vagabonds, a Dubois-based band, will play polka music from 5-8 p.m. Wanderlust Event Rentals from Punxsutawney will also be on-site all day with its Photo Booth in a converted RV.
