Maui, Hawaii – November 29, 2022 – Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer and spirits trailblazer, Sammy Hagar, is commemorating the end of an era for with the release of the last bottles of his original award-winning Hawaiian-made Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. To celebrate the final release of remaining white and Red Head bottles, 55 random buyers who purchase both rum flavors will be surprised with a bottle that is autographed by Hagar himself, which is sure to become a collector’s item.
Hagar originally founded his award-winning Beach Bar Rum in Hawaii in 2012, moving production to Puerto Rico in 2015, when the Aloha State’s sugarcane industry was broadly downsized. The final 2,000 bottles will be released on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. PST, with purchase information on the Red Rocker’s website at www.redrocker.com/.
Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum was originally made from pure cane juice, harvested on the island of Maui and converted into golden sugar at the old C&H sugar factory on the island, before it was driven up the mountain to Hali’imaile Distillery and distilled into rum. The original Hawaiian formula has long remained a favorite of rum drinkers, fans and spirits reviewers alike, winning awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.
The final batch of Hawaiian rum will include just 1,000 of 750ml bottles of white rum and 1,000 1.0L bottles of Red Head, which is infused with macadamia nuts and fruit and vegetable juices. Both flavors must be purchased together for $69.99, which includes shipping, while supplies last. Everyone who purchases the bottles will receive a special video message from Hagar.
Hagar recently released a limited-edition batch of Hawaiian aged rum, the only batch of its kind, with Sammy’s Lost Cask – 10-Year Aged Rum, which was quickly snatched up and sold out in less than 8 hours.
Now made in partnership with Rick Springfield, Hagar’s Puerto Rico-made Beach Bar Rum is also available for gifting in time for the holidays at sammysbeachbarrum.com/rums/. Beach Bar Rum comes in three award-winning varieties: white rum, Red Head and Kola Nut Spiced, and is available for purchase nationwide, with the exception of Hawaii.
Also in Hagar’s portfolio and available for shipping nationwide are his award-winning Sammy’s Beach Bar Cocktail Co. top-shelf sparkling rum cocktails in a can, which come in four playful twists on classic flavors: Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Splash, Island Pop and Cherry Kola Chill.
