I have been getting a few questions about finding my content, so I thought I’d create this post to explain a bit more about finding my content. Given the amount of content I produce in a day, there is a delicate balance between getting the news out and over-sharing on social media.
Up first I should say the ONLY way to find 100% of my content is on mybeerbuzz.com. Not everything ends up on social media and older stories DO get backfilled with new details. I do also maintain a scrolling Breaking News banner for important stories as well as brewery-specific hashtags and regional state-level coverage as well. Bottom line is that mybeerbuzz.com will ALWAYS be the best place to find everything.
Up next, I do share about 75% of my content on Twitter, my Facebook personal page and the mybeebuzz business page on Facebook.
As far as Instagram, my Instagram Stories are typically related to the beers I’m enjoying and my Instagram Photos are mostly travel and hiking with limited beer content.
As far as Pinterest and Tumblr, I only share a very limited amount of content on these outlets. Pinterest has had an issue that affects my share buttons for over a year, and they simply can’t or won’t fix it. This makes sharing content a manual process so now I really only post one post per day on Pinterest. My apologies, but I simply don’t have the to post everything.
I do also offer a news feed of my content and comments (most of which now happen on social media anyway).
Finally I should remind everyone that I’m a one-man-band, so time is valuable and covering beer news and social media is time-consuming. I should also remind everyone that the ONLY way I can gain the funds necessary to maintain the site is if you actually visit mybeerbuzz.com and/or patronize a sponsor’s ad. I get ZERO income from social media so please consider visiting mybeerbuzz.com.
I’ve also created a post outlining how you can support mybeerbuzz.com for free….so please consider supporting what I do, even if it’s for free.
