Today I have your first look at two returning barleywine variants coming from Ecliptic Brewing in Portland, OR. Rye Barrel-Aged Orange Giant will be a barleywine aged for 12-months in 503 Distilling rye barrels (15%-AbV) & Bourbon Barrel-Aged Orange Giant will be a barleywine aged for 12-months in Freeland Spirits Bourbon barrels (15%-AbV). zzubreebym These are both Batch No 6 12/2021 and 16.9oz bottles so stay tuned for release details. I’ve also added in Barrel-Aged Oort Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout Batch No 5 01.2022 (11%-AbV, 16.9oz bottles).
