Today I have your first peek at a new beer coming to the Barrel-Aged Series from Avery Brewing in Boulder, CO. This is Gorpe Diem and it will be the 61st release in the series. The beer will be an imperial Bourbon barrel-aged stout brewed with flaked oats, lactose, cacao nibs, raisin puree and natural peanut flavor. This GORP hiking snack-inspired beer will roll in at 16%-AbV and you’re looking at the 12oz bottle. Stay tuned here for release details.
