Another exciting twist on our flagship IPA Loose Cannon, Joose Cannon Mai Tai is its bold, juicier counterpart. Infused with the flavors of Polynesia’s most famous refreshing cocktail, it is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Joose Cannon Mai Tai is brewed with lime, orange, and orgeat syrup, so take a break, relax, enjoy the sunshine, you’re on island time.
Joose Cannon Mai Tai will be available in 4-packs of 16oz cans during a curbside can release on August 27, 2021.
“You will feel like you’re on the beach when you sip this bold, tropical IPA.” says Heavy Seas Associate Brand Manager, Lauren Gramley. “What better way to capture summer time in a glass than with this twist on a classic cocktail?”
“Joose Cannon is always a great way to have a blast in the brewery,” says Brewmaster Christopher Leonard. “A Mai Tai is such a fantastic summer drink, with lime, orange, and almond flavors. We knew it was a perfect inspiration for a great hazy IPA. Hops are the heart of any Joose Cannon, and this one features Citra, Lotus, Sabro, and Cashmere. Lime juice, orange syrup and imported orgeat compliment the wonderful citrus hop flavors in this cocktail in a beer glass. Enjoy!”
Joose Cannon Mai Tai will be available exclusively at the Heavy Seas taproom. Its label artwork was designed by local Baltimore artist, Chris Shiner, of Chris Shiner Art. All the taproom exclusive beer labels will be designed by Shiner in 2021.
