From Yuengling:
Yuengling will be hosting its Military Appreciation Day on Thursday, May 27 at Yuengling Brewery (420 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, PA). The brewery will donate $1 of proceeds for every pint sold that day to military partners Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB). Members of the public can visit the giftshop from 9 am – 5 pm and make reservations online for tours running 11 am - 3 pm.
There’s also a check presentation at 3 pm that day where Yuengling 6th Generation leaders Jennifer and Debbie Yuengling will present a $50,000 check to TAPS. The donation will be presented to TAPS Director of Strategic Operations Matt Mabe and TAPS Survivor Melinda Kane, who has benefitted directly from TAPS programs after losing her eldest son Jeremy who served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Afghanistan in January 2010.
Let me know if this is something you could add to the event calendar? I included a media alert below that you can feel free to pull from.
Thanks!
