This morning I have your first peek at a new birthday beer coming from New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, CO and Asheville, NC. This is 30th Anniversary Wild Ale and it will be brewed with spices and a blend of five separate beers matured with wild yeast in white wine barrels and fresh oak barrels (spiced with orange peel, grains of paradise & Indian coriander). The beer is also dry-hopped and bottle conditioned to hit 7.7%-AbV. This follow-up to 30th Anniversary spring seasonal Wild Ride will be packaged in 750ml bottles with retro artwork by Anne Fitch. As a bonus, I’ve added in the new keg label for Oh Hi! Flying Embers collaboration session sour ale blended with hard kombucha, sage and Pixie tangerine extract (6.5%-AbV).
