This morning I have a new beer making the leap from the Reserve Society to normal bottles from The Bruery in Placentia, CA. This is I’m So Happy It’s Thursday and it will be a double barrel-aged imperial stout (So Happens It’s Tuesday). The beer is aged for the first year in Speyside Scotch barrels and the 2nd year in Bourbon barrels and it will roll in at 16.2%-AbV. This 2021 Edition will be packaged in 750ml bottles and stay tuned for release details. I’ve also added in Vanilla Villain Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with Vanilla Planifolia beans from Madagascar, Mexico, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda as well as Vanilla Tahitensis from Cook Islands, Ecuador, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Tahiti (15.4%-AbV, 750ml bottles)….release details pending.
