Boulevard Releasing Double Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout With Chocolate, Vanilla & Coffee

Boulevard Releasing Double Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout With Chocolate, Vanilla & CoffeeFrom Boulevard:

It’s that time again when holiday traditions usually unite family and friends to share feasts and libations. This year, Thanksgiving may look a little different, but we’ve worked to keep one thing the same, the release of a beer that showcases our love for barrel-aged stouts. We are proud to bring you the latest beer from our Brewhouse One series - Double Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Chocolate, Vanilla & Coffee. This beer is a Boulevard Tours & Rec Center Exclusive release dropping 11/23.

This time, with help from our close friends at Prairie Artisan Ales we aged our base beer in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels for 12 months, then transferred it to Heaven Hill barrels for an additional three months. A worldly ale, it features Guatemalan coffee from Messenger Coffee Company, cocoa nibs from Ghana, and vanilla beans from Madagascar. With notes of dark chocolate and a subtle coffee finish, it flawlessly balances chocolate, coffee, and vanilla, making it the perfect beer to toast your Thanksgiving feast, even if it’s just for two this year.

Aged to perfection and pouring nearly black in color, this stout boasts aromas of rich coffee and bittersweet chocolate.
