Black is Beautiful + Turbulent Illumination
Weekend Drive-Thru Release
Saturday, August 29th, 2020
This Saturday we are proud to release our version of Black is Beautiful—standing alongside Weathered Souls Brewing and over 1,000 other breweries in a worldwide campaign of sustained awareness of the injustices that many people of color face every single day.
100% of the proceeds from our Black is Beautiful sales will be distributed to the NAACP Corvallis/Albany Branch, the NAACP-OSU Student Chapter, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. We are honored to assist these incredible organizations to lift their voices in the fight for equal rights, both in our community and nationwide!
In addition to Black is Beautiful, we will also be re-releasing Turbulent Illumination—offering up a number of cases we had earmarked for a now-canceled event we had planned for the summer. Unfortunate, sure—but lucky for us, this beer is tasting as great (if not better) as it did when we released it this past spring.
As with all of our sales, all purchases will be made through our online store, which is now open and will remain open until Friday at 9:00am.
See you Saturday!
Black is Beautiful
Imperial Stout with Blackberries
ONE-OFF CAN
RELEASING 8/29 AT THE TAP ROOM
Started by Weathered Souls brewing in San Antonio, the Black is Beautiful initiative is a collaborative effort to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. The mission is to bridge the gap that's been around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color. For our version, we stuck as close to the base Imperial Stout recipe as possible, further maturing our release on 600lbs of Oregon Blackberries.
