This morning I bring you a new beer heading to the Side Trail IPA Series from Upland Brewing in Bloomington, IN. This is Viking Slang and it will be an imperial Nordic-style IPA that uses Hornidal Kveik yeast as well as Sultana, Mosaic and Ekuanot hops. The beer will sail in at 7.6%-AbV and you’re looking at the 16oz can. Stay tuned for release timing. I also have the latest packaging for Bad Elmer’s Porter aged in Brewer’s Reserve Bourbon barrels with coconut (9%-AbV, 25oz bottles.
