DTLA IS OPEN AGAIN!
Plus: Food is no longer mandatory in SD or SB as of today. It is, however, still extremely delicious. Before we get into this exciting new info, we'd like to thank all of you for not only being patient and incredibly supportive over the last few months, but also for being so diligent. It seems like rules and practices are changing every day (often because they literally are), and we know that's a lot to keep up with. It means the world to us that you've hung in there, rolled with the punches, and been so consistently excellent in observing the new rules while being kind to both our staff and one another. We are humbled and delighted to be a part of the community that's formed around this company, and just want you to know that we think you're frickin' awesome. One more time for the folks in the back: Thank you.
ALRIGHT, let's get in to it. We're very excited to announce that the DTLA Dankness Dojo is once again open for on-premise partying. You can swing by to sit down with some food and pints; get beer, coffee, and merch to-go; and rediscover the thrill of drinking a beer while sitting on furniture you don't own. Let's cover some basic—and by now pretty familiar—rules for your visit:
- Social distancing is mandatory. You and your group must be six feet apart from other groups. Group size is limited to six people.
- You must order a meal to enjoy alongside your beverages. These are the state/county rules, for now.
- Guests must find a seat onsite. If you're not in a seat, you must have your mask on. That goes for ordering, bathroom runs, and milling about.
- We aren't kidding about rules 1-3. Please show up ready to take them seriously, for the safety of both our staff and your fellow guests.
The Dankness Dojo will be open Wednesday-Sunday, from 11am-10pm. We can't wait to see all of your beautiful faces from a socially responsible distance!
More updates on San Diego and Santa Barbara reopenings below. Scroll on down, friend.
IN MORE GOOD NEWS, San Diego and Santa Barbara have lifted the food requirement for our guests. That means that, should you choose to just swing by Lomaland, The Flavordome, Far West, or The Academy for a pint, you can totally do that. That said, you should probably still order some food if you can, on account of it being delicious, but now you're legally allowed to make the wrong decision and not avail yourself of our insanely tasty menu. Taste the freedom.
As we're sure you're all already aware, tons of things are still in motion regarding the current and future phases of reopening in California and Portland, and we'll undoubtedly have more—and hopefully good—news coming down the pipeline soon. Thanks again for taking the time to keep up with it all and thus enabling us to continue to create small, comestible moments of joy amidst this weird, dark timeline.
More news (and, dare we say, some Anaheim updates?) coming soon! Stay safe out there.
Cheers & thanks!
